The Bride must wear shoes and stockings (also in Summertime L); shoes must be lined with the same cloth of the Wedding Dress.
- Mind the neckline of the Wedding Dress: in Church, you could need a veil, stole or shawl to cover your neck and arms. Pages and Bridesmaids have to pay attention too.
- No bridesmaids nor pages to hold the train? Then, no train.
- The guest ladies will wear pastel color dresses or definitely strong colors like ocher, moka, plum, blue and green. If you compulsory need to wear you black sheath dress, please add some pleasant accessory to “play it down”.
- AWFUL!: no white or ivory dresses, please: on that day, they exclusively belong to the Spouse
- The Groom will remember buying the Wedding rings and will entrust them to a Witness
- All addresses on the invitation envelops must be handwritten.
- The Spouse will wear neither rings nor bracelets, either before and during the Ceremony, not even the Engagement ring; same for gloves. Earrings and necklace must be pretty and small.
- Tight for the Groom and male witnesses if the ceremony starts within 6 p.m. and the Spouse wears a full-length dress; from 6 p.m. on, tailcoat for the Groom and dark suites for all guests. DINNER JACKETS PROHIBITED.
- The Bride will present the Spouse with the Bouquet
- The Bride stands for the Spouse at the right edge of the altar, the Spouse reaches him held by her right arm by her father and she reaches her future husband on his left side.
- The relatives will sit on the opposite side to their Spouse-relative, that is the relatives of the Bride on the side of the Groom, that’s to say on the left side, while the relatives of the Groom will be on the right side. That’s the way to have the assembly understand that the parents aren’t loosing neither a son nor a daughter but they do acquire a daughter and a son-in-law.
- CONFETTI AND RICE THROWING AT THE END OF THE CEREMONY? OUT!!!
- The relationship degrees of guests will suggest the best table allocation.
